A Photo Booth, A fun addition to your reception by Jamie Bloomquist
When we walked into the reception I couldn’t decide if the contra dance line or the waiting line for the classic photo booth was longer. Both created an atmosphere that was buzzing and the combination made for a unique wedding indeed.
The photo booth was a nice departure from the Polaroid camera left on the table for guests to snap a photo and paste it into a wedding scrapbook. While both are fun, the photo booth service gives your guests a nice take away wedding gift and you end up with a CD of all the photo booth images from the night. If you like, add your names or the date between all the images to create a very personalized reminder. I’ve been to a lot of Maine weddings and the photo booth was truly unique.
We spoke to a representative from ClassicPhotoBooth.net and they were prompt, courteous and answered on the first ring. The company has photo booth operators to provide services throughout New England. For a Maine wedding, ClassicPhotoBooth.net offers a booth and operator for about four hours (approximately 400-450 images), wonderful gifts for your guests and delivers a CD to you at the end of the night for approximately $1,500-$1,800. This price may vary depending on your location in Maine. You can call or go online to get a quote specific to your wedding date, schedule and location.

Instyle Magazine's annual Super Saturday

Super Saturday is an event held annually in the Hamptons. It serves as a way to raise money for ovarian cancer research. The event includes, games, prizes, a carnival, and most importantly, a garage sale of over 200 designers! Last year, Super Saturday helped to raise upwards of 2 million for the ovarian cancer research foundation and this year has been an equal success. Classic Photo Booth supplied two booths to the 9th annual Super Saturday. Adults would walk over and tell stories about how they used to see these booths at amusement parks when they were younger. They were thrilled that today, not only were they present for a good cause, but their children could experience the fun they had with the photo booths as well. We had nothing but happy patrons that day, and is proud to have been part of such an imperative cause.

The event had a photograph theme, from posters with pictures from popular television shows on them to Television screen photo montages, so it was only fitting that a Photo Booth be there as well! We supplied four photo booths to this event. Guests entered the ballroom staring curiously at the booths, however it only took a friendly, "Hello! Would you like to take a picture?" from our lovely technicians to open people up. Everyone was very excited and had so many questions for us! We were even interviewed about our services and what we were doing for the event on internet broadband television. The event was a success and we watched as the smiling guests left with their pictures in hand.
